Heaven Minded

Let's be honest, turn the radio on and you tell me how you would to have your children singing the words to just about any song on mainstream radio.  Between the sexual enuendos and the overwhelming advocacy of drinking and un-enthical behaviors, realistically, nothing is being left for the imagination anymore.  Our children's minds are being filled with ideas and knowledge that would've never been broadcasted when we were young.  Times are indeed changing, and not for the better.  The disensitizing of music is having such a powerful impact on todays society that more people know about Solange beating down JayZ in an elevator than they know about the people being killed in the Sudan for believing in Christ.  This is some serious stuff and as a chosen people of God, it's our responsibility to make a change.  The goal isn't to stop what the world is doing, but to encourage a movement of God in the hearts and minds of the people through acts of kindness and service, moving according to the works and the Will of God Almighty.
I encourage my readers to listen to some of these songs and let them speak to you.  I pray that if there's any out there that receive the anointing through my music that they share and encourage others to do the same.  I thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog and until next time, God Bless and keep pressing in.
